I don’t really know how to describe this. I made this a few years ago (2007 maybe) as a score writing (MIDIstration) exercise with a bit of PD sound design. The drums came out alright, I believe I used the free version of Natural Studio’s ns-kit

I saw this guy @Sala Rosa a few months back. Totally mind blowing. He’s doing another show there this month. If ever he’s in your neck of the woods I’d highly recommend checking it out.
File this one under humour.
We all need to inject some crass immaturity into our lives every now and again.
Personally it keeps me from getting depressed about pollution, politics, etc.
Someone I know made this four bar loop on a little drum sampler. I heard it… I laughed… I told him to make a song out of it. He refused. I asked him bounce it out as a mono loop and send it to me. I re-edited it and this is what came out. No layering, effects, etc. Just a straight up loop chopped and loaded on the drum pads and messed about with.
original loop is played as is at 1’54”

I found a Hammond VS-300 on the curb a while back. Figured I’d bring it home and see if it works. Low and behold it did, except for a few scratchy switches. This is a recording of what it sounds like when it’s not doing anything. Volumes cranked up and I’m probing around the driver with a microphone.
Little taste of a drum kit I’m working on. I’m in program building mode.
